"Clouds are made by large factories," "houses with flat roofs are homes where the roof has blown off." These were things I honestly believed as a child, influenced by what I had seen, conclusions I had drawn, and snippets of conversations picked up from my parents.

Changing your mind is allowed! It's only natural. Imagine if I had closed my mind to the possibility that another reality could exist.

What a strange worldview I would still have now!

That's why I am convinced it's incredibly important to remain open to other perspectives and not assume that you already know. That you have exclusive access to the Truth.

"I don't know, and I could be wrong" – these are the two most powerful spiritual tools at our disposal. However, saying it is easy, but truly meaning it and living by these words is challenging.

How often do we listen to someone and pretend to be open-minded just because we are listening to a different perspective? We listen, but we don't genuinely give the other opinion the opportunity to enter into our system.

So where do we draw the line between truth and not knowing? When do you live your own truth, and when do you let yourself be guided by the truths of others?

I asked Master Thoth:

"At the beginning of your journey, take it as a starting point that there is no truth. That there are many truths. Different perspectives.

It is advisable for a novice alchemist or spiritual truth-seeker to explore different truths. To adopt one as your truth for a while. Once you have delved into it and know how that truth feels, it's time to open yourself and live another truth. Investigate that truth and make it your own. Then seek another.

After exploring several truths, you will discover a commonality. A piece within yourself that burns like a flame in the midst of different perspectives. That is your truth burning in your essence. 

The next step in the quest is figuring out how the flame of truth in you responds to other perspectives. Without judgment of what that truth entails, observe how your flame reacts. What aspects nourish it, what aspects dampen it.

Then, you will find components in all truths that feed your Flame of Truth and in return are nourished by your flame.

Now, you are ready to find the grand flame burning beneath it all. The Flame of Divine Truth, nourishing all other truths. When you find that flame, you have discovered Divine Truth. And that's what you can feed your essence with, allowing it to become grander than you are on your own.

Then, you have found the source of Earth's Alchemy. Then, your true journey can begin."
