The costume you put on
7 December 2022
“Men owe a great apology to women! So I want to start with you.” A friend of mine made this statement when we were taking a spiritual course together. “No!” I blurted out. “Don’t you dare!”
It was my first spontaneous unfiltered response. I felt inside that it was not necessary at all. In fact, I even got a little angry about it. I didn't immediately understand, because he meant well and if he felt the need, who was I to deny him?
He felt a responsibility for all the oppression of women and the victims of patriarchy and felt that men had a lot to make amends for. He wanted to start with that by apologizing.
By apologizing, he saw us women as victims. And I refused to be a victim. Yes, terrible things have happened, but it has also been the responsibility of women. We have handed over power, we have gone along with it. Perhaps on an individual level it has been difficult to avoid, but if you look at a collective level, it is a game that we as souls have entered into with each other.
Guides:
“If you consider yourself a victim, you are giving away your own power. You let your light go out a bit, as it were. That's okay, you may have made an agreement at a soul level to experience this because you or the "perpetrator" wanted to experience this.
What we see is that many have started using it as an excuse not to look at themselves or have even embraced it as an addiction. Humanity is addicted to drama and victimization. It's time to transform that.
If you find yourself falling into this pattern, try the following:
Ask yourself who you would be if you weren't a victim. Who would you be if this had never happened to you? How would you feel?
Let that energy flow through you.
- Feel where the addiction has hooked into you like a hook.
- Stream ultraviolet energy through the hook and remove it.
- Who have you given your power to? See the person in front of you and the wires connecting you.
- Let the ultraviolet flame flow through these threads and transform them.
- Visualize a rose taking back the power you gave away.
- Let the power you've brought back flow back into you and fill you up.
- Then ask yourself what would you do if you weren't a victim?
Realize that you are not powerless. Stop being guided by that feeling. Let it go. It's not about men, women, races, politicians, business leaders, it's about the feeling inside. The flame that burns within.
The flame that burns with self-esteem, love for yourself. It knows that you are so immensely great and that the smallness you experiment with as a victim is a costume you have put on. The good news is that you can also take it off again. Without any problems.
Give humanity back its power by standing in your power again. By that we mean get out of drama. Without judgement. You look at it like you're an actor who played a role and now it's time to put the script aside and get out of the role. Back into your true self. Which is incredibly powerful.”
It’s time for Act 2.
